UC Davis Health is developing a new medical campus in Rocklin, California on a site that is currently home to the Placer Center for Health. The 835,000 square foot project will include a community hospital, skilled nursing facility, ambulatory surgery center, specialty medical office, wellness center, hotel and up to 115,000 square feet of research, educational and ancillary hospital space. The project will be built in two phases and will enhance health and healthcare access in the surrounding region.

LeapStep is working with an integrated planning team led by Jacobs and developed sustainability guidelines and criteria as part of the master planning process. The intent is to ensure that the future campus will achieve the UC system-wide sustainability and carbon neutrality goals.
